Eckert-Maret, Fred. (Added Author). Ethnivision. (Added Author). Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society. (Added Author).

Summary: Multiculturalism policy is based on the premise that Canadians not only tolerate but actively support cultural diversity and inclusiveness. The program looks at what can be done to celebrate uniqueness and the will needed to make the world safe for diversity. It shows how racism expresses itself and how it affects society, explores the historical roots of discrimination and shows that racism is primarily a social problem, looks at current efforts to counteract racism, talks to people who are part of the struggle to eradicate it and offers solutions and ways to heal the wounds.
