Barb Cranmer presents a visually compelling and moving documentary about the power of community and the strength of tradition. Cranmer travels with her family and others from the Kwakwaka'wakw Nation on their annual journey to the sacred place known as Dzawadi. Here they practise the age-old tradition of rendering oil, t'lina, from the eulachon fish. Widely traded throughout the Pacific Northwest for thousands of years, t'lina remains a vital food staple, trade good and symbol of cultural wealth.
