Summary: The core Canadian Newsstand full text collection includes the following major dailies (1985 to date): National Post, Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, Montreal Gazette, Ottawa Citizen, Regina Leader Post, Vancouver Sun, Vancouver Province, and the Victoria Times-Colonist. To these newspapers the following packages have been added: 1) newspapers published by Black Press Ltd.; and, 2) Pacific regional package which includes papers from British Columbia and Yukon. This package contains relevant major papers from the region, supplemented by smaller market dailies as well as weeklies and other papers, to provide a detailed geographic coverage. Among those included are: Nanaimo Daily News, Nanaimo News Bulletin, Harbour City Star (Nanaimo), Ladysmith - Chemainus Chronicle, Lake Cowichan Gazette, Cowichan News Leader, Cowichan Valley Citizen, Parksville - Qualicum News.
