The third option rocks

Summary: This interactive DVD is an educational resource created for teenage students and their parents to inform and encourge consideration of Third Option careers. Third Option careers are defined as those in the trades, technical and technology areas that require some form of post-secondary education but not a university degree. The DVD and book contain over 130 occupations ranging from carpenters and plumbers to careers like chefs, computer animators and special effects technicians. They include detailed job descriptions, employment forecasts, average incomes, education pathways, and the names of institutions that provide the appropriate training.
