Reaching Out : Sandy Bay, SK

Summary: It' s been a difficult year for the community of Sandy Bay. Several young people in this northern aboriginal community have killed themselves or attempted suicide. These tragedies, however, are serving as a wake up call. The suicides have forced the entire community to search for solutions to the problems ripping apart Sandy Bay. The program explores how residents are facing the serious issues of addiction, abuse and hopelessness that have engulfed the community.
