Summary: While much research addresses the economic dimensions of refugee integration, few researchers explore the social. This paper addresses the gap, examining the social dimensions of refugee belonging and integration through the case of Acehnese refugees resettled in Vancouver between 2004 and 2006. We report findings based on research conducted a few years after resettlement. Findings suggest that more consideration should be given to policies designed to enhance social integration among refugees.
