Summary:

In the winter of 2011, all adult hospitals across Ontario completed a self-assessment based on the Senior Friendly Hospital Framework. Results were collated to produce LHIN-wide summary reports, followed by this provincial scan of SFH care--summarized under the SFH Framework's five domains: Organizational Support, Processes of Care, Emotional and Behavioural Environment, Ethics in Clinical Care and Research, Physical Environment.
